Police investigate firearm discharge in Uxbridge

Early on Wednesday July 15, a large part of Cowley Mill Road, Uxbridge, was closed and cordoned off by the police following damage to a vehicle caused by a firearm discharge. At 14:04, the crime scene closed and the road the reopened.
A witness to the incident reported that he couldn't get to his place of work, the Royal Mail office. He added “lots of people won’t get mail on time today”.
Hillingdon Vision received a press release from the Metropolitan Police with details on the incident.
Driver ploughed into another car before shooting at it.
Specialist officers arrived on scene to collect evidence.
It’s believed officers from the Metropolitan Police Unit Trident are involved in the investigation.

“Police were called at 11.31pm on Tuesday, July 14 to reports of a gunshot heard at Cowley Mill Road, Uxbridge.
Officers attended. At the scene a vehicle had been damaged by a firearm discharge.
Enquiries suggest that a vehicle collided with the victim’s car, following which, a person got out of the car and fired a gun at the victim’s vehicle.
No persons were injured. Enquiries continue.
